Give your authors a helping hand by using templates in your documentation space. You will need Space Administrator permissions to create templates.

To create a template:

  1. Go to "Space Tools" in the sidebar, select "Content Tools" and create a new template.
  2. Click "Page Layout" and add sections and columns to your page.
  3. Add headings and sub-headings as needed.
  4. Choose "Instructional Text" from the "Template" menu and add text that is only visible in the editor.
  5. Save your template.

Your template will become available in the Create dialog for this space.

Creating the Integration for Atlassian Marketplace Vendor data into confluence.

Creating a new Integration:

  1. Go to a Confluence Space
  2. Click "Marketplace Connector" under Apps
  3. Enter "", "", ""
  4. Click Submit

Your Atlassian Vendor ID:

  1. Go to your Atlassian Marketplace Vendor profile https://marketplace.atlassian.com/manage/apps
  2. Log in with an account that has access to view reporting data
  3. In the browser address bar view the URL
  4. In the URL your Vendor ID will be the number after vendors in the address /manage/vendors/{*Vendor ID*}/addons

Your Atlassian Email:

  • This will be the same Account that you used to login to your Atlassian Marketplace Vendor profile

Your Atlassian API Token:

  1. Go to manage API Tokens inside of your Atlassian ID account https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens
  2. Click create a new API Token
  3. Provide a Label for your API Token
  4. Copy API token upon Creation

Deleting your Integration:

  1. After you have created a integration to your Atlassian Vendor Profile you will be able to view it in the integrations table
  2. On the right of your ingratiation data you will see a button labeled delete.
  3. Click the delete button

Overwriting a integration:

  • If you have already configured a integration a new integration subsumption will overwrite the previous one

Integration access permissions:

  • The integration data is stored within your Confluence Instance and only is accessible to the user who created the integration
