For better overall app flexibility and our user’s convenience, we provide a duplicating feature that will copy a hierarchy.

To duplicate the Hierarchy, you simply have to select the Hierarchy you are willing to make a copy of and click the ‘Duplicate’ ‘Duplicate’ button that is located below the hierarchy name on the ‘Manage Hierarchies’ ‘Manage Hierarchies’ page.

You are able to rename it, select another owner for this duplicated hierarchy on the ‘Confirmation’ ‘Confirmation’ dialog. Then click the ‘Confirm’ ‘Confirm’ button.

As soon as you’ll see the notification in the upper right page corner you’ll see the duplicated hierarchy opened.

Firstly, you have to check nodes you don’t want to be included into the new Hierarchy. They will not be included into the hierarchy copy.

You will see the ‘Hierarchy has temporary changes’ notification displayed below the hierarchy name.

Now click the ‘Duplicate’ button placed below the hierarchy name. The ‘Confirmation' dialog will pop up. The ‘Hierarchy name’ and the ‘Owners’ fields are editable. By default, the name of the new Hierarchy will be a concatenation consist of the previous original hierarchy name and a 'COPY’ word.

4. When the name has been chosen, you can click the “Confirm” Click the ‘Confirm' button which is located in the lower right corner of the “Confirmation” window ‘Confirmation’ dialog and you will receive a new Hierarchy in the list of all Hierarchies you have.

As you can see in the picture screenshot above, the newly received duplicated Hierarchy is the exact copy of the original Hierarchy we wanted to copy, however, without the nodes we decided to exclude in the second step of this guide.
