For the better overall SIT flexibility and our user’s convenience, we provide a coping feature that will copy all of your Hierarchies. You can also make a copy of the existing Hierarchy with exclusion of unwanted nodes.

To make a copy of the Hierarchy, you simply have to select the Hierarchy you are willing to make a copy of and click the “Copy” button that is located in the upper left corner of the application screen.

Things get a little trickier when it comes to copy a Hierarchy with exclusion of certain nodes. Let’s go through the entire COPY with exclusion process step-by-step.

  1. Firstly, you have to select Nodes you don’t want to be included in the new Hierarchy

2. Now, you should click on the “Copy” button, which is located in the upper left corner of the application window. When you do so, the “Confirmation” window will pop up.

3. In the “Confirmation” window you should provide a Unique name for the new Hierarchy. By default, the name of the new Hierarchy will be a concatenation of the previous name and a word “COPY”.

4. When the name has been chosen, you can click the “Confirm” button which is located in the lower right corner of the “Confirmation” window and you will receive a new Hierarchy in the list of all Hierarchies you have.

As you can see in the picture above, the newly received Hierarchy is the exact copy of the Hierarchy we wanted to copy, however, without the nodes we decided to exclude in the second step of this guide.
