1.9.0 Templates 2.0

Templates 2.0 - is a better version of Templates that you have already got used to. Thanks to the new mechanics, this new version is capable of processing most of the custom Jira or the third party add-ons’ fields.

Templates 2.0 will be created by default starting from Smart Issue Templates v1.6.0 when you click the Save button.

How to create the Template 1.0

We don’t recommend using old Templates 1.0, but if you have any issues with Templates 2.0 you can use this guide.

Creating Template 1.0 is similar to creating Template 2.0, except for the very last step:

1. When following the template creation guide, please fill in all of the required fields and template settings.

2. Click on “…” which is located right next to the Save button.

3. In the dropdown menu, select Save as 1.0
