Create Template v1.2.0

Templates support all the default field types available in Jira Core, Software and Service Desk out of the box, except for the Attachments field.

  1. Open Create Issue dialog, by pressing the Create button at the navigation menu.

2. Pick a proper Project and Issue Type Inside the Create Issue dialog and then fill out the fields you'd like to save as a Template.

Also, it's possible to create a Template from the existing issue by going into the Edit Issue dialog of the appropriate issue.

3. When all the field values you'd like to save are filled, hit Save Template button at the bottom of the Create Issue dialog.

4. Specify the details of your Template in the Create Template dialog and click Save to save your Template for future usage.

Template Public 

Select this checkbox if you'd like your Template to be available for the other users to use (available only for Jira Administrators) or leave empty to make it available only for the current user.

Scope

Select a Scope which restricts the Template visibility. The Template will be available only in projects and issue types which the Scope contains.
