Getting started

Smart User Activity allows you a more comfortable and faster communication with teammates! With our add-on, you always can see who is online!

We have integrated the Statuses to all popular places like the issue details, comments, and user management page.

Status has a familiar view, that you could saw in popular messengers or social networks.

It is Green, Orange or Grey circle near to the user's avatar, which means Online, Away or Offline status respectively.

Statuses

The add-on will listen to your Jira activity and set your status automatically.

The add-on listens to the next user activity:

  • Browsing of Jira pages

  • Actions with issue

  • Actions with comments

  • Log work

  • Actions with projects

We have the next statuses in the add-on:

Online

Status means that the user is working with Jira right now.

This status will display for 15 minutes by default, from the last user activity.

This time can be changed by Jira Administrator on add-on's settings page.

Away

Status means that the user was active less than 30 minutes ago (by default).

This time can be changed by Jira Administrator on add-on's settings page.

Offline

Status means that the user was active more than 30 minutes ago (by default).

This time can be changed by Jira Administrator on add-on's settings page.

Never Logged in

Status means that the user was never logged in Jira.

Pop-up User Info

You can see this menu when hover the pointer to the user's avatar. The add-on has modified the menu.

Under the username, you can see a line with a Status name and the next line with the last user activity time.
