The auto subscription feature enables you to automatically generate Jira Issues based on the latest news and updates from a chosen source. This way, you can quickly assign the stories to the designated person responsible for reviewing these updates. This efficient system makes it easy to keep up with the ever-changing news.

Users can Add, View and Manage auto subscriptions in case they are granted the relative Permission

Add a Scheduled auto subscription

  1. Click the ‘Set auto update’ item in the navigation tab

  2. Click the ‘Add assignee subscriber’ button

  3. Fill out all required fields

  4. Click the ‘Add’ button

All subscriptions will be shown on the Scheduled auto subscriptions page.

Edit a Scheduled auto subscription

  1. Open the Scheduled auto subscriptions page

  2. Сlick the ‘Edit’ button in the scheduler row

  3. Edit any data you need

  4. Click the ‘Save’ button to save changes

Delete a Scheduled auto subscription

Schedulers can be temporarily deactivated or permanently removed. To deactivate an auto-update scheduler click the ‘Is Active’ toggle in the scheduler row:

A scheduler will stop creating Jira Issues. To make it active just click the toggle again.

To permanently delete the scheduler follow the next steps:

  1. Open the Scheduled auto subscriptions page

  2. Сlick the bin icon in the scheduler row

  3. Сlick the ‘Delete’ button in the ‘Delete scheduler’ dialog
