New Scope button allows you to create a new Scope for a Template, and apply it to the current Template.

Also, you can click Edit Scope if you have permission for it.

Field Name

Description

Template Name *

Unique name, up to 64 characters long, case insensitive.

Description

Short Template description, up to 128 characters long.

Available for

Restricts users who can use the Template.

Owner

  • only the owner of the Template will be able to apply the Template

Scope

  • any users that have access to projects that selected in the Scope field will be able to apply the Template.

Scope *

Restricts the Template visibility. The Template will be available only in projects and issue types specified in the Scope for each user that has access to projects that were listed in Scope and has one of the groups that were defined in the scope.
