The "Files" feature allows you to create a knowledge base from various file formats whether its an corporate documentation, sales report or software code. Supported file formats at this moment are: doc, txt, pdf, csv, json. This guide will help you use this feature effectively to build a comprehensive and tailored knowledge base for your chatbot.

To create a new knowledge base from the one or multiple files you need to select the “Files“ mode in the “Create Knowledge Base“ page.

  1. Name: Enter a unique name for your knowledge base in the “Knowledge Base“ text field.

  2. Description: Provide a brief description of your knowledge base in the “Description” text field.

  3. Privacy Settings: Choose between “Private” or “Public” toggle. A “Public” knowledge base is accessible to all users, while a “Private” knowledge base is only accessible to the owner.

  4. Drag&Drop: Upload your file by dragging & dropping it in the “Drag&Drop“ area or simply click it to browse and choose the file from your device.
