💾 Knowledge Bases

Welcome to the "Knowledge Bases" page of our application! This area is your central hub for managing the knowledge bases that power your interactions with the AI bot. Here’s a step-by-step guide to navigate and utilize this page effectively.

Navigate to the Knowledge Bases page from the navigation menu in the header of the application.

Knowledge Bases management

Optimize your knowledge base management with the folders system and shared knowledge bases within the organization.

Folders system

  1. Click the “Create New Folder +”.

  2. Enter the folder name and click “Save”.

  3. Select desired knowledge base by hovering over it and click the “Manage folders“ icon to choose the folder you want to place selected knowledge base. Or click the “Select“ button to bulk select knowledge bases and click the “Copy to Folder“ button to move selected knowledge bases to the folder.

Shared knowledge bases

  1. If you’re a part of the Organization in the Await Cortex all created knowledge bases within your organization can be shared with organization members.

  2. All organization knowledge bases are located in a separate tab

 

Creating a New Knowledge Base

  1. Initiate Creation: Click the “Create New KB +” button.

  2. Enter Details: The “Create Knowledge Base“ page will open. Fill in the necessary details for your new knowledge base, such as name and description.

  3. Add Content: Upload files or enter URLs as sources for your knowledge base.

  4. Save: Once you've added all desired content, click the “Start” button to start the process of creating your new knowledge base.

Deleting Knowledge Bases

  1. Locate the Knowledge Base: Scroll or search to find the knowledge base you want to delete.

  2. Select Delete Option: Click the “Delete” icon in the top right corner.

Editing Knowledge Bases

  • View Details: Click on a knowledge base to open the “Knowledge Base view“ page to view its detailed content and sources.

  • Edit: You can edit the name or description of the knowledge base. Click the “Save“ button to save changes.

  • Update: Click the “Update“ button to update the content of the knowledge base. This action will start the process of re-creating the knowledge base from existing web pages, Jira issues or Confluence pages

  • Delete Click the “Delete“ button to delete the knowledge base.
